{North Carolina Dreamin'}

Wendel and I had a little romantic weekend get away to Asheville, North Carolina this weekend, and we had a blast! 

Love spending time reconnecting with this man of mine...thankful I get to do life with him!

We're loving making videos of our adventures...a way to have "home videos" like we did growing up! So here's our latest!

Our first day was spent at the Biltmore Estate frolicking and exploring the area! 

After exploring the house {aka our future home} we headed over to Antler Hill Village to explore, get some lunch, and taste some wine! 

That evening, we headed to Fig for dinner. A lot of people had raved about this place, and it lived up the hype! We ate more carbs than we could ever imagine...but it was vacation, right? 

Parmesan and truffle oil frites...oh.my.word! 

The next morning, we headed to Tupelo Honey for brunch before hitting the road!

Goat cheese grits ya'll...my life will never be the same! 

On our way home we stopped by the J.Crew warehouse. Not at all like the outlets...there are one or two of things, but they are dirt cheap! Didn't get a lot, but got some amazing things! 

On our way back to the highway, we found this little pull off with the most incredible scenes! It was drizzling and pretty cold at this point, but we didn't care! 

It may have been a quick trip, but it was perfect! We loved every second of it, and got back on the road feeling refreshed and just a tiny bit more obsessed with one another. 

We don't even have kids yet, but we can tell how important these little get aways are for a marriage! 

We live a decently stress free life, but we both remarked on how relaxed, thankful, and in love we felt.
